Hallo Ulrike, nice kitchen as far as I can see ;-)
Well joking aside, I think you are pretty innovative and although I was required to create a couple of audio podcasts for my MAODE study and I am getting a little bit more used to hearing my own voice which always sounds somehow strange to me, I somehow avoide/dare making a vodcast, i.e. a video podcast. Why, somehow my look in the mirrow tells me that I would scare people off if they not only read or hear me, but even see me. I am still having some problems with the English pronunciation and my accent is compared to your non existing accent still audible which adds another minus point against vodcasts.
I am not sure if seeing a person necessarily promote greater trust, it might work for some people, but for me it is not crucial.
A couple years ago I formed a friendship with another student I met in a course and since that we not even exchanged pictures, but I really trust her. However, I like the little pics in our profile or having a picture of the author displayed in the blog, but that is absolutely sufficient for me.
Nice video (and kitchen), Ulli!!! - Well, I could imagine that seing a video can indeed create more trust, especially if you work internationally or in a virtual team. Monika
